Located on the Honduran island of Guanaja there is a village named Mitch in memory of the terrible hurricane that swept through and did such tremendous destruction in Honduras and Nicaragua a few years back.  Thanks to volunteer builders and donations received from local folks as well as gifts from supporters abroad, this school has been provided with classrooms and the basics to make possible educational advancement for a group of more than 100 primary and secondary students.  Recently the 2010 school year began although it was necessary to trim back on teaching staff.  The local Bay Islands Mission has the responsibility of supervising this institution, but the amount of financial support coming from the mission is practically non-existent. Do You Daydream?

Sunday, February 28, 2010 6:34

“Jesus now returned to the Sea of Galilee, and climbed a hill and sat there.  And a vast crowd brought him their lame, blind, maimed, and those who couldn’t speak, and many others, and laid them before Jesus, and he healed them all.  What a spectacle it was!  Those who   hadn’t been able to say a word before were talking excitedly, and those with missing arms and legs had new ones; the crippled were walking and jumping around, and those who had been blind were gazing about them!  The crowds just marveled, and praised the God of Israel.”
